Free Technology for Teachers
http://www.freetech4teachers.com/

This blog is extremely useful for teachers. There are many free applications and suggestions for technology that could be used in a classroom or by an educator. The design is a little busy but has a lot of great ideas. There is a video on smart phones, information on chatting and texting and a listing of free ebooks for teachers.  A viewer will need patience to wade through it all. There are very few colors, which is probably good because it would have been too overwhelming with all of the other gadgets and information on the blog. I would recommend this blog to other educators because of the useful tips and information.

2 Cents Worth
http://davidwarlick.com/2cents/

2 cents worth is an amusing cheeky blog. Not a lot of useful information but fun to read. The blogger's tribute to Steve Jobs was heart-warming. There was an idea for a new video game surrounding food. As well as a few longer blogs about test messaging. The layout was clean cut and easy for a viewer to maneuver through. The colors are minimal and didn't take away from the information the blogger had posted. I enjoyed this blog because the cheeky verbiage made it easy reading. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this blog to an educator but I would recommend it to a peer.

A Dance with Butterflies
The title peaked my curiosity, I thought it was going to be a metaphor  but was disappointed that it was a blog about actual butterflies that was created by a teacher for her class. The content was mediocre and was not thought provoking. The color scheme and design was nice, probably the most appealing part of the blog in my opinion. I didn't care for the pictures or the postings. I didn't find them educational or inspiring. I absolutely would not recommend this blog to other educators.

Moving at the Speed of Creativity
Most of the topics are education based. With that being said, I didn't find the format appealing enough to keep my attention or peak my curiosity to continue searching for other information within the blog. I did enjoy the layout of the top of the page but the right side was too busy with too many gadgets. Overall, I did not enjoy this blog; from the layout to the content, I was thoroughly unimpressed. I would not recommend this blog to other educators.

Teach42
The opening cartoon made me laugh, so I stayed on the page. Isn't that what blogging does? Catches a person's eye so they read on? Well, it worked for me and I'm glad that I continued to read this blog. While basic in format, it was the perfect combination of information and eye appealing colors and pictures. There was basic tool bars and few gadgets on this blog. I like the idea that less is more. I stayed interested and continued to search for other information on the blog. I would highly recommend this blog to other educators.
